Mr. Piplu Biswas is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sunlife Insurance Company Limited, bringing over 30 years of extensive experience in the life insurance industry. He possesses strong expertise in strategic leadership, business development, regulatory compliance, field force management, and policyholder services.

Before joining Sunlife Insurance Company Limited, Mr. Biswas served as the Chief Executive Officer of Diamond Life Insurance Company Limited from 2017 to 2025, where he played a key role in driving business growth, strengthening nationwide operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing renewal persistency.

Mr. Biswas began his career in the insurance sector in 1989 and has since held senior leadership roles in several renowned organizations, including National Life Insurance Company Ltd., Sandhani Life Insurance Company Ltd., and Progressive Life Insurance Company Ltd.

He holds an MBA in Human Resource Management, which has strengthened his strategic perspective on people management, organizational development, and operational effectiveness. Mr. Biswas is a seasoned industry leader dedicated to driving organizational growth, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering superior value to policyholders.
